San Lucas

Nestled in the heart of Marana, San Lucas offers a welcoming blend of comfortable homes, beautiful desert surroundings, and a true sense of community.

Welcome to San Lucas - a 294-acre community in the Town of Marana where comfortable homes, open desert, neighborhood parks and an easygoing sense of community come together. Located just off I-10 near the Marana Road interchange, San Lucas offers convenient access to the greater Tucson area while maintaining a quieter residential feel.

I'm not introducing you to San Lucas from a map or a listing sheet. This is my neighborhood. I know the streets, the homes, the parks and the little things that can make a difference when you're deciding whether a community feels like home.

San Lucas isn't a neighborhood of cookie-cutter homes that all look exactly alike. You'll find a mix of one- and two-story single-family homes, different floor plans, lot configurations and architectural details throughout the community. Many homes feature Southwestern or contemporary desert-inspired styling, with stucco exteriors, tile roofs and low-maintenance desert landscaping.

One of the things that makes San Lucas special is that recreation isn't something you have to drive across town to find. Pocket parks are woven throughout the neighborhood, while San Lucas Community Park provides a larger gathering place with open space, playground areas, sports facilities, picnic areas, walking paths and a dog park.

San Lucas is located in the Town of Marana on the northwest side of the Tucson metropolitan area, just east of I-10 near the Marana Road interchange. That gives residents a relatively straightforward connection to Tucson, Marana and the surrounding northwest communities.

San Lucas is served by the Marana Unified School District.

San Lucas has an established neighborhood feel without feeling disconnected from the rest of Marana. Streets wind through residential blocks with parks tucked among the homes, while the surrounding desert gives the community a distinctly Arizona backdrop. It's a place where you can walk the neighborhood, take the dog to the park, watch the sunset and still be a relatively short drive from shopping, dining and major roads.
